Steam narrow boat ‘trevor’ is sadly for sale again following the death of the owner. engine is a 4” by 4” sissons single driving through gearbox for ahead and astern. boiler: two drum by kew bridge, oil fired. length: approx 45 feet. phil martino is acting on behalf of the owner's widow, and will post more details of trevor hopefully around the 20th sept 2018 after he has visited the boat.. The roper steam bike got its start when p. gagan showed up at my shop with his (freshly purchased) steam bike. it was built by bob jorgensen, of memphis. The idea: recently i saw a video of a remote controlled boat powered by a miniature steam engine and was instantly hooked on the idea. after doing a bit of research i found miniature steam engines cost hundreds of dollars or require some very advanced skills and tools to build..
